As we all know, the Infor system is subpar in our vision of how a system should work to facilitate the operational needs of the employee and company. We have been in contact with Management to try to expedite the issues at hand that were supposed to have been worked out with stage 1 at Lax. In speaking with local 575, they had given insight into the problems that were occurring at the time and continue to this day. The problems were brought to management prior to release to Us. The following discrepancies are:
- Some employees do not have an active account for some reason.
- Overlapping issues need to be updated.
- After posting a shift on a billboard, any employee can split the shift and take what they want without notification to the original employee about what is left or if they picked up at all.
- To request TL for a shift should not be on the system. Many times there is last-minute acceptance and the employee can not plan accordingly.
- How would the TL be approved for notification to employees from MCC or Management?
- Ghost shifts: When an employee gives it to a coworker, the original shift disappears. No one can see it and some trades are done on their own.
- Billboard posts not appearing
- Shift trades not appearing
- Last minute shift pick-ups are not 2 hour windows like before.
- An employee is not able to cancel their shift trade once sent to the system.
- Once an employee splits their shift, they can not post both of them.
Should you have any other issues not stated above, please do not hesitate to communicate with Union Leadership to add to the growing list. Be patient, Stay United!
